currently, I tried to update COSMOS as suggested in the browser, but it always tells me "oops, something went wrong". Any suggestions?

This usually happens when downgrading Chaos Cosmos versions. A clean install with the latest Cosmos update should fix things. To do so, please do the following steps:

    Windows:
    1. Uninstall Chaos Cosmos from the Control Panel and make sure that the following folders are removed:
      • C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos
      • C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\Chaos Cosmos
    2. Then, please install the latest version of reinstall the Cosmos Browser by downloading in on this link and let us know if Cosmos started working:
      https://download.chaosgroup.com/?platform=47&product=62

    MacOS:
    1. Uninstall Chaos Cosmos by going to:
      1. /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/uninstall/Uninstall
    2. Make sure that the following folders no longer exist once you uninstall Chaos Cosmos:
      1. ~/Library/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos
      2. /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/
    3. Then, please reinstall the Cosmos Browser and let us know if Cosmos started working:

If the above steps don’t help, please forward us the cb.log file located in -
