  • Trial License not working

    Hi,

    Downloaded and installed the trial for Vray Next last night but the License Server tells me there are no licenses installed on the computer. I followed the steps listed in the help file but no dice. When I log in to my.chaosgroup.com. it shows the licenses are there but I cannot activate in the license server.

    You should install the latest license server - https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...dalone-512-adv
    Navigate to the status page (http://localhost:30304) and check if you can see your license listed. If not - log in with the account you used to apply for the trial - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...tup-Activation
    If you have other V-Ray licenses that are distributed by a license server computer different than your local machine - add "localhost " (without the quotes) as an alternate license server in your license settings - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...cense+Settings

      Thanks Ivan, I managed to fix the issue by deleting the CG folder in Common Apps. This forced me to log in again when installing the license server and now everything is working. I think it was trying to use an old account from my old company.
