error: could not obtain a license (-96)

Ive had v-ray for 3ds Max installed and running since last may. Today I cannot render and am getting the message error: could not obtain a license (-96). Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?

(-96) error indicates a problem connecting to the license server. Make sure you have the license server installed - https://download.chaosgroup.com/license-server
If you still get the issue after that - e-mail us at support@chaosgroup.com with license information - USB dongle SN or a Chaos Group username, so that we can check your license status.
