I sent you an email with a file and example.

Edit: it worked initially on small low res test for a bit.

I've tested this on a new machine, everything installed from scratch. This still crashes! in the 50,000 times I tried to do something different I found that the denoise per element flag in the command line crashes the vdenoiser.exe most of the time. -elements=1

I've submitted a support ticket and attached files... but no help.. just the same copy past support questions.

      Hello,
I missed the webinar about the new 3.5 version; Is there a podcast somewhere?
      Thanks

I did however notice that the procedural maps work in the new beta, but it seems that they do not work in conjunction with vrayedgetex when plugged into a composite map and then into the bump? is this a known problem?

          Cheers.
Try with setup as the attached one (you can put the map you like instead of noise).

Thanks very much for this IT WORKS!!!

So is this the official way it's supposed to be done because I always used to just put it into the vray bump slot with a composite map on the Vray cpu and it never was a problem.

            Thanks Blago and Vlado

@chadstevens - I have initially missed your question, so sorry for the late reply. It has been working with that setup for quite some time now. This is the workflow that is working currently in V-Ray GPU. It is a bit different compared to the CPU, because of the way bump maps and V-Ray GPU works in between the different host apps (Max, Maya, etc), but it should work fairly well.

              Blago.

Just did some more testing, it appears that it still does not support a composite map in the bump slot of the vrayMTL so I can only have one noise map working at a time, is there a different workflow for this?

                Cheers.

Hm, this is not expected. I will check and get back.

For my great amusement this really seems to not be working with composite. Apparently it got broken at some point ... I am really sorry about that, will fix it asap. Fix will be added to stable and nightly builds.

Thanks Blago, when will it be available in the stable builds, as I don't have access to the nightlies?

This will be fixed in the next stable nightly build. This stable nightly is basically 3.50.04 with few critical fixes (like this one). If you don't have access for that, please mail to sales@chaosgroup.com and they will sort it out.
                          Sorry for the troubles again.
