Vlado, do you plan to drop any of 3ds max versions with vray4?

Well if you go by the list of Max versions you can download the Beta for, they are the same versions of Max, supported by 3.6.. I mean why would they give users a chance to try the beta, then decide not to support the version of Max they downloaded it for???

How do you obtain a licence for using the Beta once it is installed?
Sorry uninstalled, the plugins don't work with it , so they are a vital part of my work flow.

Looking forward to a full release.

                      Thank you

You can install it on a different version of Max if you have one. Like me, as it is not yet compatible with the plugins I need, I had to install on Max 2016, so at least I can have a play with it, until the plugins get updated.

                          Not for the moment, why?

I am just curious, as I am on max 2014 and I do not intend jump on autodesk rental train. 2014 was the most stable version I have worked with so I have decided to stay with it when AD announced their plan. I understand that supporting old versions of max is a cost for Chaosgroup and at some point it will be abandoned. Anyway I am glad that I have at least 2 versions of Vray to use in future On the side note it would be interesting to make a pool to see how many of "us" are out thereThank you for great tool and support Vlado!

Still using 2014 and at my age, I very much doubt I will ever want to upgrade. Simple fact is Max 2014, has everything I need, works and I have it setup just how I want it. I've invested a lot in my setup, so hopefully Vray will continue to support Max 2014, at least for the foreseeable future. and you are right 2014 is the most stable version for me also
