    Hello,

    I am baking VrayRawTotalLighting unto texture to use as a lightmap.
    The resulting texture produced is unusable due to heavy artifacting.

    This issue doesn't seem to happen in all of our scenes. Only certain ones, but we've had no luck identifying the cause.
    The artifacts are there regardless of render engine and the settings being used.

    I'm including an image to illustrate the problem.

      Thanks for the provided scene. The issue is caused by both the activated Ambient Occlusion (GI>Ambient Occlusion) and the "Use Embree" (Settings>System) option. Regarding the latter, sometimes when objects are far from the center of the 3ds Max coordinate system, artifacts may occur due to ray trace inaccuracies. You can either move the scene to the coordinate system center or disable "Use Embree".
