My computer is also nonresponsive when rendering. It was like this earlier, rendering in V-Ray, but it improved over some V-Ray updates. Now, I can't even move my mouse.

Nope not at all, but then again at Microsoft you dont want to raise the bar too low.

Im coming to the conclusion that Win10 is swiftly becoming as popular as the epic fail "Windows Me" :P

It is far better than Vista and Win 8.1 in my opinion.

To a certain degree I have to agree with you on that, the only major thing that really gets my goat is the forced updates that keep biting me in the ass.

Is there no way to shut that off though? I'd be surprised if you can't edit registry or whatever to disable them.

I think the new Creative Update gives you options now. I think I read that, however, I haven't looked:

If you have a network admin you can set up update servers that the updates get pushed to and then roll those out to production machines. But if you're a solitary user, it gets more complicated.

So far I have just disabled the service and it seems to be working at the moment, time will tell. I just wish M$ wernt such dicks about it as currently if there is an update it can be postponed for a couple hours but after that its forced through and for our industry at least that can be devastating and loos clients for us. Im to the point where if I could get 3dsmax for MacOS then I would jump ship in a heartbeat, I am not overly fond of MacOS but its a little more respectful to its users.
                            Cheers,
