  • Rendering Error when using Pflow and Motion Blur

I set up a simple pflow test scene.

When I render I get an error instantly. It seems related to motion blur.

If I delete the second pflow (the small one on right called Turb tester) the error goes away. If I turn off motion blur, the error goes away.

Can someone explain what's going on? I don't use motion blur (or particles) very often, so maybe there's some setting I'm missing.

We've logged a bug report for this issue.
As a workaround you can try cloning the "Turb tester" emitter and then removing the original one. This stops the error from showing up on our end.

Thank you Miroslav. By the way, I think lowering the particle count substantially on the other emitter might also stop the bug. Might be helpful when you're troubleshooting...
