  • Color 2 Bump Scale error

When loading a triplanar map into vray color 2 bump if you set the Real world scale in the bitmap (as opposed to in the triplanar map) the bump map will not display correct RW scale (as set in bitmap). If you set the real world scale in the triplanar map then it works properly.

Even if I run a triplanar map straight into the bump slot, it will not recognise the the real world scale set in the bitmap scale area.

I need to be able to set the scale in the bitmap (and not in the triplanar map) because the triplanar map doesn't allow you to specify a length and width....

It works properly in diffuse, reflect, refl gloss. etc etc... why not in bump slot?

Using Vray RT 3.6 and max 2016

You are rendering with CUDA right ?
I can reproduce it that way.

Yes, excuse me for the long delay. I've logged it to our bug tracker and we will post here when any update is available. For now you can use a baked map for bump in real world scale in Cuda mode or maybe adjusting the tiling to match the result you need.

If you attach the triplanar directly into the bump map slot, it should work with V-Ray Next.
