  • Confirm Overwrite when "Separate render channels" is checked

    [Frame Buffer rollout]

When "V-Ray raw image file" is checked, it'll prompt you if you want to overwrite previous files.

I noticed when "Separate render channels" is checked, this prompt doesn't show up and overwrites whatever previous files are in that folder. I've gotten burned by this a few times.

Can we get a prompt for this to protect us from ourselves?

    Thanks!

Somehow we've missed that. I'll add a note about it and we'll fix it.

I just installed vray 3.50.03 and tested this, the problem is still there.

We haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

Sorry to keep harping on this, but this still isn't fixed. Just tested it on Vray Adv 3.6.04

I'll bump the priority of this issue a bit.

It's already implemented in the nightly builds. It was done for beta 3, but we pulled it back because it printed a bit too many warnings than was needed.

                    Best regards,
