    Hello everyone,

    We've just released a major update of V-Ray for Houdini!

    New features include:
    • Custom AOVs - Smoother export of textures and procedural maps to custom render elements.
    • VRScene Unpacking - Added support for unpacking imported VRScenes to live polygon geometry while preserving material assignments - this allows users to easily import assets from other DCCs (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max) without worrying about rebuilding the materials.
    • Deadline Support - Added a custom V-Ray Deadline node for job submission to the render farm
    • Custom attribute texture paths - Smooth randomization of textures with support for per-face and per-primitive string attributes.
    • Massive instancing - Memory-efficient instancing of large hierarchies of objects.
    • Volume Rendering Improvements - Added support for instancing of volumetric effects with frame offset when loading as Packed Disk Primitive and using intrinsic attributes
    • Debug Shading - Isolate selected textures and materials to help debug large shading networks in IPR.
    • Quick-select of cameras and V-Ray ROPs - Easy-to-navigate drop-down menus for render node and camera selection.
