  • V-Ray 3.40.03 now available

    A new update to V-Ray 3.40 for Maya is now available!

    Here's the list of bug fixes in 3.40.03 since 3.40.02:

    (*) V-Ray: Fixed image sequences with an index out of the sequence range not rendering;
    (*) V-Ray: Fixed crashes on old Maya versions on virtual machines and old gpus;
    (*) V-Ray: Fixed wrong result with material environment override;
    (*) V-Ray: Fixed set driven keys not being exported correctly in some cases;
    (*) V-Ray: Fixed export of textures with multibyte character names.
    (*) V-Ray: Fixed outline appearing in the Matte shadow render element with certain sampler settings;
    (*) V-Ray: Environment overrides now have textured previews in viewport 2.0;
    (*) V-Ray IPR: Changes to the Rounded Edges' corners parameter were not detected;
    (*) VRayProxy: Fixed wrong animation range in the UI;
    (*) VRayProxy: Fixed mesh visibility lists not working after scene reload;
    (*) VRayDisplacement: Fixed issues with Ptex and vector displacement;
    (*) XGen: Fixed crash when rendering archive;
    (*) VRayDirt: Fixed UI issue with locked subdivs when "Use local subdivs" is disabled;
    (*) VRayTriplanar: Fixed different texture instances sharing the same UI control;
    (*) VRayIESLight: Fixed crash when toggling the target;
    (*) VRayRectLight: Fixed high CPU usage in viewport 2.0;
    (*) PartIO: crash with PTC files and rgbPP expression
    (*) VRayLightSelect: Now works with probabilistic lighting;
    (*) VRayDenoiser: The denoiser update button did not work after aborting denoise;
    (*) VRayObjectProperties: Fixed issues with objects with identical names;
