  • V-Ray equivalent of Arnold SSS set name

    Hello,

I'm new on V-Ray and on this forum.
I would to know if V-Ray can calculate the SSS of two separate objects like it is just one.
I came from Arnold and the attribute name for that is "SSS set name".

    Thank you.

    Ed

    Hello,

If you add V-Ray object properties to your object, there is an attribute called "SSS Surface ID", which can be used for a similar purpose. More details are available here:
    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...jectProperties

This can also be done with a V-Ray user attribute on the shape; it must be named "VRay_SSS_SurfaceID".

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
