    Hi,

I have to test the process for 360 Gear VR stuff.

Off course I've read the Guide-to-VR_Chaos-Group-Labs.pdf

As I don't have Samsungs Gear VR here, to test out every step, I was wondering if some of you could share some good tips/tricks to go directly the right path.
I followed the guide, and made some primary tests, and, off course, I have some questions.

1- do you guys do Latlong or Cubemap?

2- Is it definitely mandatory NOT to use Vray Physical camera ?

3- what are the best settings for the camera ?

Any help would be really appreciated.

    cheers

    Olivier

Yes we do Latlong and Cubemaps and we support Cylindrical, Spherical, Box and Cube 6x1 cameras. You could check our documentatin page for some examples:
    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...sofCameraTypes

Furthermore it is not mendatory to use Vray Physical camera. I would recomend using Spherical Camera(FOV set to 360), a resolution of 2k image(2048 x1024, Device aspect ratio of 2) or higher and VRay Stereoscopic camera set to "Adjust Resolution".

Thanks for the response Nikolay. A while ago, I finally did 360? at 6144x6144, with a Spherical camera. It worked like a charm
