  • Resume rendering, V-Ray standalone and EXR

    Hi,
I was just testing the resume rendering feature again and noticed that it is broken when rendering with V-Ray standalone (e.g. via Deadline or CLI). No .vrimg or .vrprog files are written to the output location during rendering.
When I set the file format to vrimg it works.
When I render locally from within Maya it works as well. Even with EXR as the output format. After a short while an image is saved to disc with the current render result.

    Windows 10
    Maya 2018.6
    V-Ray 4.30.00

    Cheers, Florian

Some further testing on my side shows that resumable rendering with V-Ray standalone and Deadline also does not work. An vrimg file is written to disc during rendering. But if the rendering is stopped and started again, V-Ray standalone overwrites the existing vrimg file and starts new.

It seems to be working fine, V-Ray standalone with exrs. Do you add the '-resume=1' command?
