  • OpenVDB VRayVolume Grids and spherical camera problem!

    So, it seems like OpenVDB VRayVolume Grids and the spherical camera don't play nice as you can see below. This is very similar to a problem we had in Mental Ray. A huge portion of this project is 360 degree stereo flyover of clouds, I'm hoping there is an easy solution to this.

    Hi,

    indeed, that's a problem and it reproduces with simple geometry too, so it's a problem with the renderer. We'll take care of it and give you back an answer.

      Hi,
      you're having this issue because the "Auto Render Clip Plane" option in your camera is turned OFF. You need to turn it back on and this will fix the issue.

        ahh well that's embarassing. I was using an old camera from this project that is ages old and it wasn't set. Thanks!
