  • External scatter not working with Volumetric geometry mode

    I couldn't find anything in the documents to mention that it doesn't work. I'm trying to render some VDB clouds in an environment fog so I need the Volumetric Geometry mode to make them work correctly apparently. I am now trying to match the original look of the clouds and it appears that the External scatter parameter has no effect in this mode. I tried setting the transparency levels to the max on 100000 and it makes no difference. Sliding the External scatter does nothing.

    Hello,
    Unfortunately when using the Volumetric Geometry mode Approximate and Approximate+Shadows options for the Scattering parameter in the Smoke color window are not supported.
    The External Light Scatter works only with those two modes.
