  • Texture fills asset editor

    Hi,

Ocasionally when im dragging textures to the asset editos i miss the blue texture icon and the texture im dragging fills the whole asset editor. The only way i can exit his "preview mode" is by restarting rhino. Is this a feature or a bug? Is there a way to close the "preview mode" without restarting?

      Hello,

We were able to replicate the issue and we will look into it.

One way to revert the "preview mode" without restarting Rhino is to use the Process explorer from the sysinternals tools - you can download it from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sys...ocess-explorer
You will need to run it, then select the parent vrayneui.exe process, right click on it and select restart.

        Hello,
        Thank you for your feedback!
We are already aware of the problem and looking into possible solutions. https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...660#post984660 is another faulty UI result due to the same cause.

        Kind regards,
        Peter

          Strange bug.

in fact it would be very useful to have a preview of the textures so big , often make a color correction with vray for rhino is really complex, the visual feedback is not usable, you must have vray rt always active ..
