Limited Materials. Not Possible to add new materials

Am I correct in assuming I have to pay the £140/month VRScans plugin to extend the material selection I can use beyond those materials which come bundled with VRay for Rhino package I currently use ?

Please be informed that VRscan materials are a product on their own and require a separate license. You are welcome to check the link below for more detailed information regarding them.
