  • Why are the pixels seen even with a high resolution?

    Hi there!

I'm not very good with Vray but here is my question: The (height) resolution of the image attached is 1685 pix, but even so there are those small corners in the upper part of the table? Why?
Shouldn't be with this resolution. The rendering is still going one and this is only a part of the image (but I don't think the small corner are going to disappear).
The material in the table is Vray material (Vaneer_D01_120cm).

Is there any other way of getting rid of the 'small corners' than increasing the resolution?

    Thank's for the answer(s)!

Do you see the aliasing when you view this area at 100% ?
In the Frame Buffer, when you're not at 100%, the anti-aliasing is not good.

Where can I find this 'anti-aliasing' in Vray?

But I repeat, if you're not viewing the image at 100%, there's no anti-aliasing computed

You mean by increasing or decreasing that number '2' (in Antialisng Filer) I can get rid of those 'stairs?'

Like I said I don't know much about Vray.
I have no idea what means 'Raytrace, Noice limit, Min subdivs, Maxsubdivs, Anti-aliasing Filter, Filter Size / Type, Global Illumination, Caustics, RenderElements, Switvhes, etc., etc... (in that picture You sent )'

          Thank's!

            Yep, that seems to work.
            Thank's!

(I wonder what is the min. and max. in this particular feature?).

You did not answered my question... are you viewing the image full-size?
In the frame buffer you can see your zoom level at the top left: (50% in this image, make sure it's 100%)

It has been 25% (all the time).
Don't even know, how to get the picture full 100%...
