  • Mesh Clipper totally doesn't work for me

    Latest Vray, SketchUp 2016, 2017, Windows 7

Even in the simplest scene, Mesh Clipper simply does not work. I don't know what else to say. It renders the object I've assigned as the clipping object.

      Sorry for replying so late!
Note that some features are not supported in GPU render mode. You can check the full documentation here

Sorry if I piggyback this thread.. I noticed that the clipper doesn't work with simple planes: the clipping object has to be a solid. Is this true?

The clipper bounding box should have a volume, and it will cut only areas which included in the bounding box only, if you want the simple plane to work, just go inside the clipper and rotate the plane or rotate the Axes.

The VRayMeshClipper works with closed mesh objects. If you want a plane clipper, simply use the native Section cut tool. V-Ray uses the same clipper plugin to utilize it.
