  • How does bloom and glare works?

    Hi

I have enabled bloom / glare via the "lens effecs settings" window, but nothing happens. What do I do wrong? is there some switch somewhere I have overlooked?

    Hello,
If Bloom and Glare camera lens effects do not appear in your rendered image, please double-check the following:
    • Lens effects are visible only in the effectsResult render channel. Make sure this is your active VFB channel, not RGB.
    • If running Interactive rendering, check the Update Frequency parameter under the Setting > Denoiser section. It must be set to a value different than 0 (default is 60) in order to view updates to the effectsResult channel.
    • Check the Settings > Camera > Exposure Value (EV). If it is abnormally high, the lens effects may be hard to notice.
    • Adjust the Lens Effects' Threshold value. Lower values allow dimmer light sources to produce bloom/glare.
    • Adjust the Lens Effects' Intensity value. This is a straightforward multiplier of the lens effects strength.
