  • baked osl's in Animation.

This is the first time I try RT for Production.
I use the complex Fresnel osl (the one from the docs) for some metals.
The RT log says its not supported and will be baked.
    It looks good though.
Is there any problem to expect with that if used in animation?

    I'm on 3.60.04

OSL is currently not supported on GPU and as the log says, we bake it.
This means that we use some default settings in order to calculate the shader
before the render is started and we create an image with the calculated values
that the GPU uses to shade the surface.

Some more complex shaders will not look ok.
It really depends on the shader.
