  • Zooming in causes RT to start rendering from scratch

Sorry for posting the same thread again but I posted it in the wrong forum by mistake and I think that's why I didn't receive a reply there.

Basically, RT starts rendering from scratch when I zoom in in VFB. Is this a bug? It happens only the first time I zoom in, after which zooming in doesn't cause a restart. This happens when using RT in Active Shade mode and in Production mode as IPR with the nightly in my signature and 3.50.04.

    Hello,

I'm trying to reproduce it here but no luck so far. You mean zooming in the VFB with the mouse wheel? Is it scene dependent?

    Best regards,

Yes, zooming with the mouse wheel. It's not scene dependent. I recall that another user also mentioned having this issue.

Could you share a scene that has the issue ?

I've just emailed support a download link with a scene for test. Let me know if there are any questions.

                Hello,

Thanks for the scene - I finally managed to reproduce it. Will write back when it is fixed.

                Best regards,
