  • RT GPU Bump map is broken

I often struggle with bumpmaps in rt gpu, especielly with refraction envolved.
Here I use a noise map to create som surface bumps in a window.
The GPU render however is very different from CPU and vray adv.
Noise map uses UVW mapping. Baking the noisemap doesn't help either.
What i don't understand is that bumpmaps often work great and sometimes they don't it seems.

Bump map works differently compared to CPU and we don't have plans to unify those 1:1 (V-Ray GPU is a different engine, after all).
With that being said, there could be a bug. Can you share a sample scene that we can check?

Fair enough I will make a sample scene. Bump does work great in many instances though. But with noise maps it seems hard get a desired look.
The above reflection looks like a fractal map is used with blurry reflections. But material it 100% glossy with a standard noisemap at 4%
