  • Cuda IPR slower than Render

I noticed that the Cuda IPR renderer always render also if the noise ratio is reached, it doesn't stop and gpus are throttling at 50%
Also when tweaking materials and objects gpus are always at 50%
Hitting the final render the gpus run at full speed 100%
I understand that the system gpu has to run at a lower speed to tweak parameters an have an RT feedback but all the other gpus could run always at full speed.
We could decide what gpu does the job: material, lens effect, individual low priority, etc.

    regards

The difference in utilization between active shade and production V-Ray GPU is only in the render settings - try increasing the rays per pixel and/or ray bundle size in the active shade RT settings (advanced) and it should be better. You can also turn devices on/off from being used in V-Ray GPU from the RT device select list.

    Best,
    Blago.
