  • VRay 3 Trial Freeze, i can't make a render

    hi,

    I try VRay 3 trial version with SketchUp 2017 before use it for production.
    I make lot of test, but when i have try "history", vray have totaly freeze. Fine it could be happen! I stop sketchup and start sketchup again, but vray don't want make a render.
    I have try to uninstall and install vray, vray + sketchup, start & stop my computer, ccleaner, but nothing, the problem still here.

    What can i do???

    Hi,

    I had the same problem. I communicated with the support unit and remotely connected and solved the problem.

      I have the support team by phone, but all people are busy.
      The person i have at phone say me : "the issue is known, version 3.4002 must correct the problem". But i have no effect.
      Do you know what the support unit have do on your computer?

        Changed the file "FrameBufferState.fbs".

          Ok, i try to change it monday with the same "FrameBufferState.fbs" from another computer who work fine.
          But i don't find this file with search engine of Windows 10
          Have you the location?

            You're welcome. I too "C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\Chaos Group\V-Ray 3.4 for SketchUp".

              Hi, i unisntall VRay, delete "FrameBufferState.fbs" and reinstall VRay.
              First attempt, it's work!!!!!
              (May be just delete the file working?)
