  • Lights have lower intesity compared to Adv if Directional parameter is used

In RT CUDA (set Production renderer) I noticed that the intensity of lights which have a Directional parameter higher than 0.0 render with different intensity compared to Adv. Is this a known issue and is this something that can be fixed to make consistent with Adv? I know it's not the best idea to be switching back and forth between Adv and RT in the middle of a project but in case one must do it it will be a problem since the lighting won't match.

Please check the following screenshots to see what I mean. All render settings of both Adv and RT CUDA are at their defaults:

Does it match if you turn up the "max ray intensity" setting in the global options to a higher value?

    Best regards,

No, still doesn't match. I just tried with an Max Ray Intensity of 1000000.0 and still looks 100% the same as when MRI was 20.0.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done
