          N002_ Animated Tree
I thought one project per week would be possible but it seems it is going to be one project per month : ))

Anyway here is a fun little animation I did few nights back based on Roger Kilimanjaro work.
the lighting and materials are pretty basic in this one as my focus was on the animation itself .
I've used tyFlow for the wood debris/Sawdust , the spread of the green part of the tree, and the bulbs with the rope that connect them .
the transformation at the start was done using Shape Boolean with Lathe .
rendered using Vray Next GPU / CPU .

          I hope you like it

Tell me about it I constantly have a problem to let go some project as there is always so much space for improvements and lack of time and energy often being main issue. Though, I believe consistency is the most important thing of all, those small steps we take every day

Geat animation, color palette, pacing, lighting - all works well together! Well done

              Thanks Karol!
Yes, being a perfectionist myself I find it hard to call a project done ..to overcome this, I do these one night projects that whatever I can get I move on with .

This month project is pretty simple, just a cube with Jsplacement Texture ,I've used the output map to take small range of the texture and use it for self-illumination slot .

                          Thanks !
it is really fun to play with this software .
it is like Greeble plugin but as a texture and more shapes /settings
speaking of Greeble, Tom mentioned that he is working on an update for it , hopefully we can do similar things with it then =D

                            003.5 Snow ball shader

Fully procedural snow shader using ALSurfacemtl and couple of shiny masked Vraymtl to add the reflected speckles.

(for the ground I've used additional bitmap to add some foot print tho .)
my client liked the snow shaders that I did for fun 2 years ago with corona renderer, but he wanted it for a V-Ray project so I think this one could be considered half-personal /half commercial .

so I will just through it here : ))

I might share this one once I test it in the real project to see how it will works and if any tweaks are required .

The corona one is here in case someone want to try it :
